In this simple guide, weâll make an integration between the Notion database and the newsletter service MailerLite. To do this, we will use the NotionMailer integration feature.
Create NotionMailer account
NotionMailer is a free tool that lets you manage, write and send your newsletters directly from Notion. It supports multiple email services such as Mailchimp and MailerLite.
Before we continue, youâll need a NotionMailer account.
Make a new Notion database using a template
Duplicate a database template
Open the newsletter template and youâll see a âDuplicateâ button in the top right corner, click it.

Share newly-created database
After youâve cloned the template, click âShareâ and âShare to webâ.

As youâll see in the next steps, this will help NotionMailer to get all information about page blocks, including colors, widths & heights to make a perfect email layout.
Connect Notion account
In your NotionMailer account, choose the âServicesâ tab and click the âConnectâ button located next to the Notion section.

Next, select the database that youâve created before in the Notion âgrant accessâ window.

Connect MailerLite account
Now, itâs time to connect your newsletter service.
Â
In the NotionMailer Dashboard, open the âServicesâ tab again and click on the âConnectâ button next to the MailerLite section. Itâll show you the form which requires a MailerLite API token.
Â
On the same page, youâll find instructions on finding your MailerLite API token.
Â

Final step: creating an integration
After youâve successfully connected your email service, navigate to the âNewslettersâ section in the NotionMailer app and click the âConnect newsletterâ button. Itâll open a new form where you can optionally choose a subscribers list for your integration and submit the form.

Â
Congratulations, now you can write & send all of your campaigns directly from Notion! đ„ł
NotionMailer will monitor your Notion database and send emails that are marked as âready for sendingâ.
